Chicago Botanic Garden presents: Connecting Your Community with Climate Change Workshop

Have you wanted to engage your students or community members with climate change, but found it a challenge to translate abstract concepts into something meaningful to their every day lives? Learn how to engage people in locally relevant climate solutions using the place-based tools and activities developed by the Connect Community+Climate+Action project.

Tools are adaptable for use with multiple audiences, from middle school students to church groups to community-based non-profits. The workshop is geared towards professionals and educators at schools, museums, and other non-profits interested in integrating climate change into their program portfolio. Lunch is included with registration.
